【History of the product】

Wood inlay is a traditional technique in which various types of trees are cut along a pattern and then inlaid onto a single piece of wood to create a picture or design.

It is produced following the production method of Kanagawa Prefecture's traditional craft "Hakone wood inlay".

It has been produced in Hakone since 1889.

 【Features and Design】

Owls, Dalecarlian horses, Matryoshka dolls, and maneki-neko – this piece depicts lucky charms from multiple countries across the world.

The finished piece is vibrant with color, but no coloring was applied to it at all. Enjoy the natural colors of the wood used in this piece.

Eleven materials are used: sycamore, red camphor, walnut, camphor, kobushi, kaya, cherry, ho-o, beech, purple heart, and zelkova.

Production time is 30 days.
